This intensive 1 day practically orientated course is
ideal for FY1, FY2 and GP VTS Trainees and for the person
about to start his/her 1st ENT post or would like a
refresher on how to manage common ENT emergencies they
will encounter. The course will give the candidate a
chance to perform many ENT procedures such as packing
of the nose for epistaxis, ear microsuction, foreign
body removal, tracheostomy management & also flexible
nasendoscopy. ENT radiology & investigations will
also be covered. A CD of information containing the
course booklet, videos of examination & practical
technique, common operations & consenting for them
will be included.
Please note that the Introductory ENT Study Day is
a joint course with Whipps Cross Hospital and Queen's
Hospital. The study day on 19th November 2010 is being
held at Queen's Hospital.
