GP Workshop - Joint & Soft Tissue Injection Training (Awarded 3 CPD Points)
 

Workshop contents

  • Participants will have the opportunity for hands-on practice of injection/aspiration techniques
  • Injections taught will include carpal tunnel, trigger finger, hand OA, de Quervain's tenosynovitis, tennis and golfer's elbow, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tendiniopathy, acromioclavicular joint OA, bicipital tendonitis and injection of the knee joint
  • An upudate on soft tissue problems seen in primary care
  • Introduction to management of common sports injuries in primary care and rehab advice
