Unlike most education centres for doctors, the MEC is priviliged and very proud to have a canteen. This is a unique place where as medical staff, you can come and relax whilst enjoying freshly prepared lunch from a mouth-watering menu.

Our canteen offers a wide range of foods for those who wish to enjoy lunchtime. Our dishes use fresh ingredients and are prepared daily by chef Tyrone Barnett. We are also pleased to announce that we now serve Halal meat!

The canteen is open to all Whipps Cross Hospital Medical staff and is located in the Medical Education Centre, Willow Lodge Level 2, located between Juntions 11 and 12 of the main hospital.

Every day we serve up a different menu giving you as much variety as possible. Why not pay us a visit - bring some colleagues along too!! Remember, we are open to suggestions and would like to hear you comments (maybe you would like to see a certain dish on the hotplate - why not send us your comments!)
