Doctors who wish to have a varied professional life and deliver
a high standard of medicine on a variety of conditions. General
Practice has become more flexible and will suit those Doctors
who would like to work part-time, devoting some time to family,
hospital work, or research. All this enhances General Practice
as a vocation.
Whipps Cross is the peoples hospital it has multi cultural
population mix which will give you great clinical experience.
The posts offered are A&E, Paeds, Obs & Gynae, Dmep,
Psych, ENT, Ortho, Med, Diab, Rheum, Pal Care. The scheme
has been run at Whipps Cross for over thirty years so we have
a wealth of experience.
The scheme offers a half day a week release which all trainees
in General Practice and hospital placements attend .This is
held in the Medical Education Centre.The teaching programme
is delivered around the needs of the General Practitioner.
