The GDC opened it's register for dental nurse registration on 31 July 2006. All dental nurses need to be registered with the GDC by 30 July 2008.

This course is designed to fast-track unqualified dental nurses so that they are able to sit the exam in May 2007, November 2007 or May 2008. Thus allowing the dental nurse to gain the necessary qualifications required for registration with the GDC.

The course comprises of 15, two and a half hour sessions. It is run over a three and a half month period, every Tuesday evening from 24th July 2007, finishing on Tuesday 13th November 2007. Further courses will run in February 2008.

All lecturers and speakers are current or past examiners for NEBDN
